HATHA YOGA

5:30 to 6:45 p.m. in the Sanctuary (except on holidays)
$5 per Person per Evening
Traditional Hatha Yoga is an holistic Yogic path, including disciplines, postures (asana), purification procedures (shatkriya), gestures (mudra), breathing (pranayama), and meditation. The Hatha Yoga predominantly practiced in the West consists of mostly asanas understood as physical exercises (postures). It is also recognized as a stress-reducing practice that attempts to balance body and mind. Asanas teach poise, balance, and strength, and are practiced to improve the body’s physical health, and to clear the mind in preparation for meditation. We will continue our usual schedule every Monday and Wednesday as we reenter a routine for our wellbeing. Zoom option will still be available. Please feel free to contact Rev.
